Hello world!

My name is Oren Robinson typing to you from San Diego, California. Today, after a few months of planning, I set this website up.

Here in San Diego, just like everywhere, there's a lot of work to do and our elected leaders can't do it alone. It's on us as residents to get involved in our most local halls of power to champion solutions to the problems we know best because we experience them.

From city council meetings, to county board of supervisor meetings, every day there are important conversations being had, informing important decisions that affect us and our children. It should be super easy for anyone in our community to exercise their voice at these public meetings.

But there's just one problem: When and where are these meetings? There's no one place to get questions answered and find out how to get involved.

That's why I'm launching this experiment and want your feedback: Every Public Meeting's purpose is to make it obvious when, where, and how to get public and get involved in local decisions being made in our neighborhoods.

About this project

Mapping 1124 public meetings and counting!

What is Every Public Meeting?

Every Public Meeting is a free, crowd-sourced directory of every public meeting from every state, county, and local public body. Each meeting is a dead simple, highly-shareable event page, with everything from when, where and which decision-makers attend, to how to get there and get in, who to call with questions, and how to leave a comment whether you can go or not. Read about our mission.

Every Public Meeting is a project by Include People.
